Zelda Swift Poirson and Fenimore W. Buxton married on April 2, 1921. They became the parents of two sons George Wendle and Joseph William Buxton. Fenimore passed away suddenly of the flu. Left to mourn his passing were his loving wife Zelda, sons George W, Joseph W. and step-daughter Nettie Lee Poirson.
