He was married to Viola Vandora nee Shannon. He died at the family home. He was originally buried in the Williamson Cemetery off Rt. 4. Then disinterred and reburied in Ava Evergreen Cemetery, Jackson County, IL. It cost $26 back in 1934 to move the headstone from the Williamson Cemetery to Ava Evergreen Cemetery.(This biographer does not as now know (2012) when exactly he was reburied. It may have been after his widow died.) The Wilson Funeral Home in Ava may have that information.
