Funeral services for Virgil LeRoy Kreis, 51 of Coshocton will be conducted from the Zion Lutheran Church in Muskingum County, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev Robert Binkley of Adamsville and Rev John Root of Coshocton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery by the Glass Funeral Home of Coshocton. Mr Kreis, a native of Muskingum County, was killed in Coshocton early Thursday morning when run over by an east-bound Pennsylvania train. According to Police Captain Harry Davis and Dr D S McDill, Coshocton County coroner, the mangled body was found shortly after 7 o'clock on the track near the American Art Works. The deceased was born November 2, 1894 near Adamsville, the son of Michael H and Martha Foster Kreis. He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving are two brothers, Rev B C Kreis, pastor of the St John's Lutheran Church at Philo and W C Kreis of Coshocton; four sisters, Mrs Hobart Vinsel of Zanesville, Mrs Ralph Krebs of near Adamsville, Mrs Virgil Bell of Newark and Mrs Anna Sturtz of Coshocton.
