Benjamin Land, son of Capt Thomas Land of 'Lands Ford', Chester Co,SC
captured and killed March 1781, at 'Battle of Lands Ford' by the British. Also,
his brothers Capt John Land, killed and Capt James Land killed the same day at
the 'Battle of Rocky Mountain.
