Christine Sheppard passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 25, 2009 at the age of 57.
Chris was born September 24, 1952 in Murray, Utah to Joseph L. (Bud) and M. Sherri Cowley Sheppard.
Chris loved music, she loved dancing and she loved to read. Chris was happiest when she was taking care of others, especially while caring for her Mom and for the special girls in her life, Cheyenne Brown and Bailey Jo Sheppard. Chris was the second Mom to the girls and she loved them as though they were her own. Chris worked as an EMT, a paralegal and worked for many years in the medical billing field.
Preceded in death by her father Joseph L. Sheppard. Survived by her mother M. Sherri Cowley Sheppard; brothers Jeff and Jon Sheppard; nephew Bryant Sheppard; nieces Brandy Slagowski and Bailey Jo Sheppard; Cheyenne Brown; as well as by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. in the Holladay Fourteenth Ward Chapel, 4917 South Viewmont Street, Holladay, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary and Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East), East Millcreek, and from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. prior to services at the Church.
Interment will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
