Beloved husband, father, and friend, Jack Mower, died March 18, 1992 in Salt Lake.

Born July 9, 1901 in Fairview, Sanpete County, Utah, son of John William and Mary Ellen Petersen Mower.

He was one of 10 children.

Married Oral Sutton July 3, 1928 in Salt Lake City; later solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple.

Jack worked at Kennecott, Geneva Steel, for Salt Lake County, and the State of Utah, as a diesel mechanic.

He owned owned a Studebaker dealership in Magna, 1946-53.

He belonged to the local Machinist Union.

Member of the LDS Church residing in Nibley Park Ward since 1931.

High Priest, he served as secretary to the High Priest group, also as Sunday School superintendent, and home teacher.

He was a good neighbor to all.

Survived by his loving wife of 64 years; daughter, Alice Anne Mower; sisters, Elaine Abbott; and Erna Clark; brother, Paul Mower, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 20, 12 noon, at the Nibley Park Ward, 2450 South 600 East, where friends may call Friday, 11-11:45 a.m.

Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Funeral directors, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
