J. G. Dunning of Forest Grove, 76 years, died at home Wednesday night at 8 p.m. He had been ill for the past three days.
Mr. Dunning was a Civil War veteran of Co I, 10th Minn Inf. He enlisted July 1862 and was discharged August 1865.
His first wife and a child died before he came to this state. His second wife survives.
Funeral today at the Christian church with burial at the Congregational cemetery. Charge of J. R. Mathews Post, GAR.
