Memorial service for Kelly Johnstone Sharp, 54, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Shaun Wicker, pastor, Bethel United Methodist Church, officiating. Mr. Sharp died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Oct. 11, 1946, in Lawton to Jack L. and Juliet Johnstone Sharp. He grew up on his parents farm east of Lawton, which his grandfather settled in the 1900's during the land rush. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1964 and then attended Cameron University. He was a farmer and rancher until 1995. He was a life member of the Elk's lodge and attended Flower Mound Sunday school. Survivors include a daughter, Stacy Sharp; a son, Jake Sharp, and a cousin Ginani Rush, all of Lawton. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mikel J. Sharp.
