NOWKA - DE JUNG

A very pretty home wedding took place Tuesday when the lives of Miss Aldena Nowka and Mr. Albert DeJung we united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nowka, by the Rev. H. Harms. After the wedding dinner Mr. and Mrs. DeJung left for their honeymoon trip.

The Sun family extend warmest felicitations to this estimable young couple.

Albert DeJung Killed Friday

Clay Center Farmer's Car Overturns When He Loses Control

CLAY CENTER (TNS) - Albert DeJung, 68, who farmed southeast of Clay Center, was killed Friday when his car went out of control and overturned on a gravel road ten miles southeast of here.

Clay County Sheriff Lloyd Pontine said De Jung was alone in his car when the accident occurred.

DeJung was a native of Glenvil and farmed near there until 1941 when he purchased his present farm home. His wife Henrietta died in August of this year.

MILITARY VETERAN

He was a veteran of military service in World War I and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Clay Center.

Survivors are his sons and a daughter, Alvin of Clay Center, LeRoy [sic] at home, Frederick of Trumball, Richard and Mrs. Eugent [sic] Marburger of Sutton, and his brothers and a sister, Fred of Glenvil, Cornelius of Grafton, Frank of Clay Center and Mrs. Henry Dirks of Napoleon, O.

Services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock in Zion Lutheran Church of Clay Center with the Rev. Theodore Hansen officiating and burial will be in Zion Lutheran cemetery in the Hastings Naval Ammunition Depot area. The McLaughlin Funeral Home is in charge.

Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by members of the Clay Center American Legion Post No. 87.
