Died:- Mrs. [Mary E.] SCHAAF will be buried today at 2 p.m. [Mary E. Schaaf, wife of Josahp SCHAAF, died February 27, 1880, age 37y-3m-19d; bur Rochester I.O.O.F. cem]
Mrs. [Mary E.] SCHAAF, wife of Joseph SCHAAF, living on the Michigan road, just north of town, died yesterday morning, leaving an almost helpless husband and seven small children in a still worse condition. Many remember the accident that befell Mr. Schaaf a few years ago falling through a bridge and sustaining injuries that has prevented him from performing hard labor from that time to the present. His deceased wife has also been in feeble health for a long time, yet she was the main support for her dependent family. The seven children range in age from one to fourteen years, the youngest being twins. Here is an excellent opportunity for the charitably inclined to show their christian virtues in relieving the wants and distress of a worthy and helpless family.
