Bertha Bopsy Baker
Miss Bertha Bopsy BAKER, 73, retired school teacher, died at 3:45 p.m. Saturday at her home, 225 W. Seventh street. She had been in failing health four years.
Born here March 12, 1877, she was the daughter of Peter and Ellen BAKER. She was a member of the Presbytrian church and was active in that organization as long as her health permitted.
An 1894 Rochester high school graduate, she received her teacher's training in the State Teachers College at Terre Haute and then taught schools in Rochester, and Hoopeston, Ill., and in North Dakota. Ill health caused her retirement.
