Timothy J Davis, age 72 years, died at his home in Mt Sinai on Tuesday afternoon after a long illness.
Mr Davis was the son of the late D. Woodhull and Anna Frances Davis. He was born in Mt. Sinai and lived there all his life.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow, (Friday) afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev Frank Voorhes of the Mt Sinai Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Sinai Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Archer W., and Freeman; three daughters, Clara, Evelyn, and Mrs. Wm H. Powell of Philadelphia, Pa.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Chas. Beach of Bridgeport, Conn., and Mrs. John M. Brown of Port Jefferson, and two brothers, Wm. A. Davis, Mt. Sinai, and Lester H Davis of Port Jefferson.
