Margaret Smith-Finney, 80, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord October 26, 2009, at CAMC General Hospital.

She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Charleston.

She was preceded in death by her husband Curt Finney; son, Steve Smith; daughter, Debbie Cecil-Finney; and sister, Glenvie Rhodes.

Surviving her are sons, David Miller of Dunbar, Curt Finney of Jackson, New Hampshire, Lonnie Finney of Santa Fe, Texas, and Paul Finney of Avon Park, Florida; daughters, Judy Carpenter of Vinton, Virginia, Cheryl Woodall of Huntington, Becky White of Charleston, Pam Morris, of Santa Fe, Texas, and Connie Derrick and Gina Miller, both of Sissonville; sister, Norma Marshall of Ripley; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, October 29, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Preston Cemetery, Charleston.

Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to services on Thursday.
