Thomas J. Day
Thomas J. Day, 80, Bradford, died Friday, Feb. 16, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Harrison County, born Feb. 6, 1921, he was the son of the late John J. and Rose Kochert Day.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II; a retired employee of International Harvestor Co. in Louisville; and a member of VFW Post 2950 in Corydon and St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford.
Survivors include a brother, John E. Day of Corydon; and a sister, Rosetta M. Jacobi of Bradford.
A Mass of Christian burial was Monday, Feb. 19, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Louis Manna was the celebrant. The Resurrection Choir provided the music. Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon handled the arrangements.
Military rites were performed at the gravesite by VFW Post 2950.
Pallbearers were Paul and Raymond Jacobi, James, Robert and John Chism and John Day.
