Dillie Lee Strunk, the three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Strunk, departed this life at her home on Griffin Avenue in Somerset, Kentucky, on Thursday, October 11, 1928, after an illness of only a few days of pneumonia.

Dillie was born in Somerset, Kentucky sometime in 1925.

Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon, October 12, 1928 with Rev. Leonard W. Doolan, a Baptist Minister from Danville, Kentucky officiating. Burial was in the Somerset City Cemetery. The grief-stricken parents have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.

Among the out-of-town relatives who were here for the funeral were Harold Strunk of Albany, Kentucky; Mr. and Mrs. George Strunk, Mrs. Leslie Barnes and Mrs. G.L. Davis all of Pine Knot, Kentucky; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lancaster, Miss. Nell Strunk, Mrs. Charles Van Winkle, Mr. and Mrs. John Brown, Mrs. Clyde Alexander, Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Young and Mrs. J. Carl all of Danville, Kentucky.
