Wednesday afternoon, May 4th, and interment followed in the Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Brett was a native of Winn Parish but spent the greater part of his life in Colfax and Grant Parish. He moved with his family to Ruston six or seven years ago, and later to Monroe.
The deceased is survived by his widow, one son, Walter Brett of Monroe, and two daughters, Mrs. D. V. Donaldson of Dry Prong and Miss Nancy Jane Brett of Monroe. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. James Fletcher, of Boyce, and one brother, Richard Brett, of Conroe, Texas.
