GEORGE HARVEY DICK

Of Brookes Mills, died at Mercy hospital yesterday afternoon after an extended illness. He was born April 26, 1875, at Roaring Spring, R.D., son of Michael and Mary (Burket) Dick. He was twice married, first to Elizabeth Garber who preceded him in death. The second marriage was to Myra McGee, Sept. 21, 1929. She survives, with a son by the second marriage, Robert Leon Dick, at home. Children of the first marriage are Russell of Roaring Spring, Mrs. Mae Pollard of Roaring Spring, R.D., and Mrs. Gladys Stiver of Hollidaysburg, R.D. 1. There are 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two brothers, Henry and John Dick of Roaring Spring, R.D. One son and daughter preceded him in death, Norman and Emma. He was a member of the Albright Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received at the Byers funeral home, Woodbury, this evening.

MRS. SARAH ELIZABETH GARVER DICK

A lifelong resident of Morrisons cove, died at her home on Oak street, Roaring Spring, Sunday evening at 6 o'clock, death being attributed to complications. She was born Feb. 19, 1878 and is survived by the following children, all residing in Roaring Spring: Russell Dick, Mrs. May Pollard and Gladys Dick. She was a member of the Albright Church of the Brethren where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. A.C. Biller, pastor of the Roaring Spring Church of the Brethren. Interment in the Albright cemetery.

MYRA M. DICK

Of 210 Blair St., Hollidaysburg, died unexpectedly at home at 2 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 1969. She was born Dec. 12, 1899, in Ore Hill, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Jane (Morrison) McGee, and was twice married, to John M. Marks, who died in 1927, and then to Harvey Dick, who died in 1951. Surviving are a son, Robert Dick of Tyrone, and three step-children, Russell Dick of Roaring Spring, Mrs. May Pollard of Roaring Spring RD 1 and Mrs. Gladys Stiver of Hollidaysburg RD 1; 24 grandchildren and a brother, Archie of Cresson Ridge. Mrs. Dick was a member of the Albright Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring. Friends will be received in the Plank Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. tomorrow.
