Athens — Graveside services for Nancy "Teddy" Elavaughn Miller Weatherford will be held Tuesday at Liberty Cemetery in Van Zandt County at 1 p.m., with the Rev. John Green officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.

Mrs. Weatherford died suddenly on Feb. 6, 2010, at her home in Athens.

She was born to the late Fred Eugene and Martha Ada Johnston Miller on July 14, 1937, in Big Spring and was a resident of Athens most of her life. She worked for many years as a seamstress and enjoyed crocheting and being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Martha Joy Miller in 2004.

Mrs. Weatherford is survived by a daughter, Nancy Eddy and husband, Frank; son, David Weatherford and wife, Lisa, all of Athens; grandchildren, Stacy Eddy, of Athens; Sgt. Steven Eddy and wife, Rochelle, of Black River, N.Y.; Angela Weatherford, of Arlington; Jeff Weatherford, of San Antonio; two step great grandchildren, Tyler and Felicity Bourdeau, of Black River, N.Y.

She will also be greatly missed by her niece, Freddie Fladd, of Athens as well as various great nieces and nephews.
