Ethel Maurine Miller Patterson age 85 died October 7 2005 at Southern Oaks Assisted Living in Henderson.

She was born in Hardeman County and reared in Chester County the daughter of the late Ondis Lee and Lariney Reddin Miller. She attended schools in Chester County and graduated C.C.H.S. in 1937.

In 1943 she was married to Rubin Patterson. They made their home in Montezuma all their married life. Mr. Patterson drove the grader for the County Highway Dept. and Mrs. Patterson kept books for her family's Gin Company at Montezuma.

Mr. Patterson died in 1990. She continued to make her home in the Montezuma Community until she moved to the Southern Oaks Assisted Living last year. Her church home was Cave Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons Gary Rube Patterson Larry Patterson and Jeffery Patterson all of Henderson; two daughters Patsy Urban and Linda Kay Toy both of Jackson; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and one sister Exie V. Graham of Henderson.

She was preceded in death by a great grandchild Patterson Toy; a sister Mary Jo White and two brothers Odell Miller and R. C. Miller.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday from the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating and burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery in Chester County. The family will receive friends at Casey Funeral Home after 5:00 PM today. Casey Funeral Home Henderson TN 731-989-2421
