T. R. Mays Funeral Set In Beaumont
Beaumont, Dec 24 - Thomas R. (Uncle Tom) May, 75, retired gang pusher for the Young-Lee Oil Company, died Wednesday at 9:10 p. m. at Hotel Dieu hospital after a long illness. His home was at 950 Cartwright Ave. A native of Huffman, he had lived in Beaumont 53 years.
Funeral services, in charge of Carroll-Wallace Funeral home, will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Carroll-Wallace chapel with the Rev. Eugene Dickey, pastor of the Highland Avenue Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Laura Mae May of Beaumont; a son and daughter, two brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren.
