LaGRANGE, Ga. --- Mr Jamie L. (Red) George, 51, formerly of West Point, died Monday, Sept. 23, 1996, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept 25 at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Lanett with the Revs. Hansel Parmer and Clifford DeLee officiating.
Mr. George is survived by his sister, Virginia Whitten of Huguley; two brothers, Joseph George of LaGrange and Charles George of Huguley; and several nieces and nephews.
Born June 13 1945, in Randolph County,Ala., Mr. George was a member of Davidson Baptist Church.
The family respectfully declines the gift of flowers and asks that memorials may be made to Crawford Center, LaGrange, Ga. in memory of Mr. George.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
