Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eugene F. Love officiating. Burial was at Double Church Cemetery near Winnfield.
He was a native of Winn Parish and was employed in the timber industry. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include one brother, R. L. Luther, Sr., of Nederland, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Hardy Martin of Calvin; and a number of nieces and nephews.
