Mrs. Fallis was born to Greer Perry and Della Croft Perry in Crested Butte, Colorado.
She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City, earned a bachelor's degree from Arkansas State Teachers College (now the University of Central Arkansas), and obtained a master's degree in Library Science from the George Peabody College for Teachers at Vanderbilt University. Over a career spanning more than four decades, Mrs. Fallis served as Librarian/Media Center Coordinator at Dollarway High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Butterfield Trail Elementary School in Fayetteville, Arkansas; Richards Junior High School in Columbus, Georgia; Norcross (Georgia) Elementary School; and Beaver Ridge Elementary School in Norcross. She also served for one year as an instructor of Library Science at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Mrs. Fallis was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma National Teachers' Sorority for more than 30 years, and most recently as a member of the Alpha Rho Chapter.
She is surived by her husband of 60 years, Charles Lynn Fallis, of Tucker; her son, Charles Perry Fallis (partner, Robert Stephen Matthews) of Atlanta; and her beloved little dog, Felix.
Pallbearers will be Mark Smith, David Smith, Steve Dobbins, Tommie Joe Kosser, Michael Kosser, and Gayle Croft.
Burial to follow at Charlotte Cemetery in Charlotte, Arkansas by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.
