CORINTH - Joseph Edward "Jodie" Killough, 85, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at The Landmark Nursing and Rehab in Booneville. He was a member of Antioch No. 2 Baptist Church and a former Sunday school superintendent. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a farmer. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed gardening, listening to gospel music and fellowship with his family and friends.

Services with military honors with be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Bro. Greg Warren officiating. Burial will be in Antioch No. 2 Cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, Don Killough (Carol) of Booneville, Barry Killough (Lisa) of Augusta, Ga., Kenny Killough (Cathy) of Corinth; one daughter, Margie (Killough) Williams of Johnson City, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Laurel Killough, Joe Killough, Michael Killough (Mica), Matthew Killough (LaChelle), Joshua Killough, Jesse Killough, Len Killough (Allyson), Chris Killough, Sara "Buddy" Williams, Penny (Caldwell) Holley (Scott); two great-grandchildren, Adam Holley and Jason McLearon.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Johnnie Mae (Whirley) Killough; his father, James McClarity Killough; his mother, Mary Eliza (Langston) Killough; and six brothers, Arthur Leroy Killough, G. Clarence Killough, W. Vernon Killough, Fred M. Killough, James R. Killough and Curtis L. Killough and three sisters, Mary "Ruby" (Killough) Odle, Sarah "Lillie" (Killough) Morrow and Edith G. (Killough) Wolfe.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time
