Meritta Annette "Toni" Nimmo, age 74 of Melber, KY, formerly of Calvert City, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at her home in Melber, KY. She was a member of the Zions Cause Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Allen Davis and late Viola Russell Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Mason Nimmo, one son, Richard A. Nimmo, two sisters, Jean Pagett and Gloria Welborn, and two brothers, Marion and James Davis.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Littlejohn of Benton, KY., and Claudette Kraus of Vienna, VA., three sons, Ronald Nimmo of Melber, KY., Robert E. Nimmo of Benton, KY., and Raymond Mason Nimmo of Benton, KY., one sister, Dean Armstrong of Griffin, GA., one brother, Donnie Davis of Atlanta, GA., 14 grandchildren and 11great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Collier Funeral Home.
Rev. Charles Frazier will officiate.
Interment is to follow in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
