Harriet N. GORE b: 27 Nov 1818 d: 28 Aug 1868 Shesehquin, Bradford Co, PA d/o Abraham B. Gore & Sally Canedy m: 27 Dec 1837 William J. LENT, Capt. b: 16 July 1815 d: 17 Sept 1907 Hornbrook, Sheshequin Twp, Bradford Co, PA s/o Joseph LENT (1786-1869) & Mary JOHNSON (1785-1855). Harriet & William lived on a farm in Sheshequin Twp. Both are buried at the Sheshequin Cemetery. Not only did the Lent's raise her own two children, they raised Harriet's three year old her nephew Abram B. Gore after his mother died in 1856. William J. Lent was Captain of Militia & member of the Odd Fellows. [#19, #37].

William J. LENT died Sept 17, 1907 at son H. B. Lent in Hornbrook, age 92 years. He was son of Joseph & Mary Ann Johnson LENT. He was born July 16, 1815, on Pond Hill.
In 1837, he married Harriet N. GORE who died 52 years ago. Survived by son, H. B. Lent and a daughter Mrs. Mary Decker, of Meshoppen. He was buried at Sheshequin. *Bradford Star, Sept 19, 1907 & Towanda Daily Review 9/19/1907.
