Adrian played defensive end for the Harvard Hornets while in high school and also played on the Rock Valley College football team while attending classes in Rockford. He had planned to attend Northern Illinois University in the fall and had worked for the American Pharmaceutical Co. in Rockford during the summer. Adrian died as a result of an automobile accident near Chemung.
