Beloved sister and friend in Christ.

Our beloved Susan Beaulieu Emerson rose to the Lord, Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1996, at 10:45 a.m. at the Kennebec Valley Medical Center after a lifelong illness.

Sue was always a straight-A student. She went to St. Augustine School in Augusta and then to Marie Joseph Academy in Biddeford Pool and finished high school in 1973, graduating with high honors from Mt. Merici Academy in Waterville. She graduated with an associate's degree in 1975 from the University of Maine at Augusta, studying secretarial science. She then was employed from 1975-1977 at the Maine Lung Association until her rare condition no longer allowed her to work.

She married David Emerson of Gardiner on Sept 3, 1976. Dave and Sue had a precious, loving marriage for 20 years. As a devoted wife, daughter, sister and friend, Susan always trusted in Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was the angel of our loving family and an inspriation of love and joy to all who knew her and will forever be in our hearts.

Since 1984, Susan was very active in the prision fellowship pen-pal ministry.
