Mary Namelle Estes, 85, passed away Jan. 24, 2010, in a Fort Worth hospital. She was born April 5, 1924, in Parker County the daughter of George Clifton and Irene Kidwell McCracken. She married Joel Granville Estes on July 29, 1939, in Mineral Wells. She was a longtime resident of Cool and a member of Holders Chapel United Methodist Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Holders Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Barbara and Jim Rothrock of Cool, Jean and Tommie Rothrock of Lincoln, Ark., grandchildren and spouses: Tammy and John L. Vaughn, Jeff and Sandy Rothrock, Robin and James Bratton, Sondra and Steve Hardin, 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 29, 2008.
