Crewmember aboard B-17G Flying Fortress #44-6182 with the 346th Bomb Squadron, 99th Bomb Group. Mission: Tortorella, Italy to Blechhammer, German-occupied Poland.

Shot down on mission to strike the oil refineries at Blechhammer, and crashed at Racibórz, Poland [German: Ratibor]. All ten airmen were killed. Missing Air Crew Report № 10030.
