Services for Amy Dawn Matlock, 5,of the Gray's Bend Community, who died on Friday, December 1, 1989, at Goodlark Hospital in Dickson following an automobile accident, were held on Tuesday, December 5, at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville. Also killed in the same accident were her brother, Adam Matlock and her maternal Grandmother, Mae Poore Gilbert.
The 10 a.m service was conducted by Bros. Paul Rogers and Bill McDonald, and was followed by burial in Plunkett Cemetery.
A native of Dickson County, she was the daughter of Keith E. Matlock and Judy Gilbert Matlock. She was a kindergarten student at Centerville Elementary School, a cheerleader for East Hickman Junior Pro football and attended the Centerville Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she leaves her brother, Brandon Matlock, and her great-grandparents, Grace Poore of Centerville, and Ilia and Malissa Matlock of Totty's Bend.
