Sarah Bauer Pletcher Wakarusa Tribune11-21-1912 Sarah Pletcher, widow of the late John S. Pletcher who died five months ago, died last Thursday night at 10:00 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Daniel Hunsberger, northeast of Wakarusa, of paralysis. Five years ago she suffered a stroke which rendered her helpless up to the time of her death and at times could hardly speak. Two weeks ago she suffered another stroke. The third stroke caused her death a few hours after its occurrence. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Hunsberger and Mrs. Oscar Stahley, two sons, Elmer and Victor, two sisters, Mrs. John Witmer of Wakarusa and Mrs. Wm. Myers and seven brothers, Samuel, Jacob, Michael, David, Abraham, Peter and Elmer Bauer. Jacob lives in Protection, Kan. All the remainder of the children live in Harrison township near the homestead with the exception of the one's in Wakarusa. The funeral services were held Sunday morning at the Baugo church at 11:00 o'clock.
