Funeral services for Mrs. M.W. (Leslie) McCloy, 81, a longtime Hutchinson County resident, have been tentatively set for Saturday afternoon.

Arrangements are by Minton Mortuary in Borger.

Mrs. McCloy died Thursday afternoon in Medical Drive Convalescent Center, where she had been a resident for one year.

She and her husband, who preceded her in death, homesteaded farmland about four miles southwest of Morse. Mrs. McCloy resided there until moving to Amarillo.

She was an early-day school teacher in Hutchinson County and was a Methodist and a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service.

Surviving are four sons, Carson of La Junta, Colo., and Willard, Wilson and Thame, all of Morse; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Beck of Denver and Mrs. Jenny Thornton of Branson, Mo.; 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

The family requests that any memorials be to the Arthritis Foundation.
