Marilyn Laverne Shepherd of Benton died Friday, May 23, 2003. She was 68.
She was born to the late Homer and Myrtle Ogles October 13, 1934, in Benton.
Mrs. Shepherd was a homemaker and a member of the Highway Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home with the Rev. Haskell Coop officiating. Burial will be in Hughes Cemetery.
She is survived by her five sons, Barney Sanders, Ronnie Sanders, Jerry McClendon, Harry McClendon and Larry McClendon; two daughters, Lexie McCallister and Carolyn Mayberry, all of Benton; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
