George W. Adam's Obsequies
Washington, October 12.
The funeral of the late George W. Adams took place this afternoon and was very largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. Bartlett of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church and Rev. Mr. Hamlin of the Church of the Covenant. Nearly all the Washington correspondents accompanied the remains of their former colleague to Oak Hill Cemetery.
