Pamela "Jean" Lloyd of mineral, passed peacefully at her home on January 30, 2022.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Dorothy Brooks, her brother Danny Brooks and her son Larry (Doo) Lloyd, all of mineral
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 45 years, Larry D. Lloyd; her daughter Melodie Lloyd; her grandsons Chase Lloyd and Jaxen Fleming; her sisters and brother Sherry (Bum) Brooks, Lisa Reed (Dennis), Vinnie Brooks, and Jeff Brooks; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Jean was born on August 24, 1958. She wed her husband in September of 1976. Together she and Larry had two children, their son Larry Jr and their daughter Melodie. Jean worked and resided in Mineral where she and Larry raised their children for her entire life. The love she had for them and her grandsons was unwavering. Her career with Louisa County school systems spanned 30 years, where she made lifelong friends. She loved family, her cats, babies, Christman, and #48 Jimmy Johnson. Her memory will be cherished and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Woodward Funeral Home in Louisa Va will be handling the arrangements. Family will be receiving visitors and Woodward's on Saturday February 5, 2022 from 6pm-8pm. Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday February 6, 2022 at Spring Grove cemetery in Mineral Va at 2pm. Fellowship to follow at Grace Freewill Baptist in Trevilians Va at 3pm.
