Mr. Edgar Adams age 71, of Rt. #6 Mt. Vernon died Sunday June 8, 2003 at the U.K. Hospital in Lexington. He was born on March 26, 1932 in Wildie, Ky. the son of the late Earl and Leoma Abney Adams. He was a retired shipping clerk for the Ford Motor Company, a veteran of the Korean War, was a mason, and a member of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Gladys McGuire of Rt. # 6 Mt. Vernon. One daughter; Miss Brenda Adams of Mt. Vernon. One brother; William Adams of Mt. Vernon. Three sisters; Mrs. Barbara Smith of Middletown, Oh., Mrs. Glena Stevens of Florence, Ky., and Mrs. Ruth VanWinkle of Mt. Vernon. Three grandsons; Rob Rogers, and wife Tia, Jason Puckett, and wife Peggy, and Timmie Puckett all of Mt. Vernon. Two great grandsons; Robbie Rogers, and Jason Ray Puckett II. One great granddaughter; Courtney Puckett also survives.
