EDDINGTON – Letha M. Adams, 89, went home to be with her Lord April 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 15, 1925, in Charleston, the daughter of Perley and Sarah (Speed) Craig.

Letha graduated from Higgins Classical Institute, class of 1944. She married Arnold Adams in 1947, a union that lasted 53 years until he passed away in 2000. She loved to cook and was very good at it. Her grandchildren loved her cookies as well as her candy dish.

Letha is survived by her daughter Sandra Dunkle and husband Louie; grandchildren Ben Dunkle and wife Sandi, Tonya Davis and husband Mike, and Jason Dunkle and wife Katie; great grandchildren Corbin and Luke Dunkle, Robin (Davis) Eastman and husband Aaron, Noelle, Trek, and Eleigha Davis, Elijah and Evaley Dunkle; and will be deeply missed by her sister Erma Adams. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Arnold, she was predeceased by a sister, Frances Cook.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8PM Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St., Brewer. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Corinthian Cemetery at a later date. (Bangor Daily News 4/13/2015)
