Bertie Lee Vickers, 90, died May 7 at Bridgeport Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at Hawkins Funeral Chapel, with Tom Adams of the Church of Christ officiatingl Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 2, west of Boyd.
Mrs. Vickers was born April 10, 1895, in Cleburne. She was the widow of Dock Sanders Bailey, and of George Vickers. A daughter, Billie Tucker, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Eva Branton, Fort Worth; and Pearl Hines, Gladiola; five sons: D. B. Bailey, Fort Worth; Everett Bailey, Newark; Roy Vickers, Bonham; Grady Vickers, Arlington; and James Vickers, Alvarado; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and nie great-great- grandchildren.
