"Death of Mrs. Elizabeth Yundt.
Mrs. Elizabeth Yundt, widow of Levi Yundt, died at her residence on West Main street, Ephrata, at eleven o'clock on Thursday night of asthma, aged seventy-seven years, five months and twenty-five days. Deceased had been a sufferer with asthma for a number of years, but was able to be about until yesterday, when her disease took a sudden turn for the worse and she died soon after. The deceased's maiden name was Kurtz, and she was the last surviving member of five children, she being a daughter of Henry and Magdalena Kurtz, of Meadow Valley, Ephrata township, where she resided until nearly twenty years ago, when she moved to Ephrata, where she had since resided. Her husband died many years ago. She was a member of the Mennonite Church. She was the mother of two children, of whom only one survives, S. K. Yundt, of Lancaster. Six grandchildren also survive, as follows: The well-known undertaker, Mr. L. Y. Eitnier, of Ephrata; Harry Y. Eitnier, of Denver, and Mrs. John Kilefner, of Ephrata; Samuel, Harry and Marguerite Yundt, of Lancaster. The funeral arrangements have not yet been perfected."
