On Sept. 30, 1725 at Windham, Conn., Abigail m. Elihu Palmer, b. Jan. 19, 1699/700 at Rehoboth, Mass., s. of Jonah Palmer, Jr. and Elizabeth Kendrick. He was the gr. grandson of Walter Palmer late of Stonington, Conn., the Palmer family's immigrant ancestor. Elihu d. July 22, 1764 at Windham.
Abigail Robinson and Elihu Palmer had seven children. By virtue of their marriage, a number of Palmer-Robinson marriages ensued at Windham in later generations either as a first marriage between cousins or after the first spouse died. The children of Elihu Palmer and Abigail Robinson, b. of record at Windham, Conn., are outlined in their father's memorial.
