29 year Torrance State Hospital worker was active at Fundamental Baptist Ch.
Christina M. "Tennie" Burkett, 84, of Aultman, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at Victorian Gardens Personal Care Home, Indiana.

She was born July 27, 1919, in Aultman, the daughter of Floyd I. and Mary M. Griffith Fairbanks. She was an active member of the Fundamental Baptist Church, Indiana. From 1953 until 1982, she was employed at Torrance State Hospital, Blairsville.

Surviving are two sons, Donald E. and his wife, Helen, Aultman and Kay F. and his wife, Virginia, Homer City; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard in 1973; two brothers, Raymond F. and Harry J., and a sister, Janet.

Funeral service was held Wednesday at Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana with Rev. Nathan Morton officiating.

Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
