Gresham resident Anne Boyd, 85, died Tuesday, Oct. 20.
Private interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.
Anne was born July 26, 1924, in Rycroft, Alberta, Canada, to E.F. and Nelei (Chapiuk) Kuzneruk. She left Canada at age 19.
In 1948, she married Rupert H. Boyd, who was in the military, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. They lived in various places including Germany, Texas and Iowa. Rupert preceded her in death in 1958.
Anne moved to Gresham in the mid-1960s and met Robert D. Darnielle, her companion for the next 32 years. Robert owned Darnielle's Supper Club, where Anne worked as a hostess. They sold the club in 1977 and retired. Robert preceded Anne in death on Jan. 5, 1995.
Anne enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting.
Survivors include her sister, Elsie Strachan of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
