Born September 26, 1918 in Salt Lake City to Harry James and Clarice Storer Bailey.
Married Alta Judkins on December 8, 1941 and later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He received his degree from U of U. Al taught school for 31 years in American Fork. He was secretary for Alpine Credit Union and American Fork Irrigation Co. for many years. Active in the LDS Church.
Survived by his wife, Alta, five children: Cheryl (Don) Miller; Wynne (Robert) Robinson; Dorian (Larry) Heaton; Chadette (Kim) Sorensen; Eden (Ben) Lindow; 27 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, grandson, and sister. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork Third Ward Chapel, 165 North 350 West. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, and on Friday at the Church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Burial: American Fork City Cemetery.
