Mr. Boaz died Sept. 12, 2007, in a Lindale nursing home. He was born May 1, 1928, in Big Spring to the late Isabel Hampton and Mary Ellen Simer Boaz and lived most of his life in Lindale.
He owned and operated Boaz Concrete Service and was a member of Central Baptist Church, Lindale.
He was preceded in death by a son, Glenn Boaz.
Survivors include his wife, Dollie Boaz,Lindale; son, Danny Boaz, Lindale; daughter, Brenda Cowart, Lindale; brothers, Whan Boaz, The
Woodlands, and Richard Boaz, Whitehouse; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Tommy Kirk, Haskell Brown, Danny Foshee, Tracy Cheatham, Gary Moore and Nicky Wood.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
