Funeral services for Marshall Sherrill Campbell, 69, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Bishop Andrew Ball officiating, with interment in Cullman City Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Campbell died Tuesday, Oct. 20, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Birmingham. He was born Jan. 31, 1940, in Cullman County. He was an appliance technician with Budget Appliance Company. He was a member of Trimble Masonic Lodge No. 739 and was a pipefitter for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Earlene Nix Campbell; and a brother, Duell Wayne Campbell.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Gillon Campbell; five sons, Marshall Sherrill (Lisa) Campbell Jr., Johnny Lynn (Detrina) Campbell, Derrick Shane (Brandi) Campbell, Dion (Laura) Johnson and Shannon (Blanca) Johnson; two daughters, Amanda (Kenneth) Roberts and Hope Denise Campbell; a brother, Eugene (Carolyn) Campbell; a sister, Brenda (Jerry) Bundy; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Carden; 12 grandchildren, A.J. Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Leslie Campbell, Megan Campbell, Christian Johnson, Kency Ayllon, Marjorie Edmondson, Ty Campbell, Trey Campbell, Trent Campbell, Leeanna Grace Campbell and Landon Campbell; and two great-grandchildren, Dane Mauldin and Brody Hatchcox.
