Vivian Blake Croxton was the daughter of Joseph Albert and Mary Roberta (McCarty) Croxton. Her siblings were Clarence, Virgie, Milton, Pauline, Lola, Robert and Warren Croxton.

Vivian married Rains M. Douglas, Sr., and became the mother of three children.

Vivian Blake Douglas, 95, formerly of Haynesville, passed away Tuesday, March 24. She was retired from Levi's in Warsaw, and spent her time as a homemaker with various sewing and crocheting creations. She loved tending her flowers and spent countless hours caring for her well-known rose garden.
She was born Vivian Croxton on May 2, 1919 at Lyells, Virginia, the daughter of Joseph Albert Croxton and Mary Roberta McCarty Croxton. She was predeceased by her husband, Rains M. Douglas, Sr.; a grandson, Ray Carneal, Jr. and her siblings, Clarence Croxton, Virgie C. Dent, Milton J. Croxton, Pauline C. Brann, Lola C. Schools, Robert M. Croxton, and Warren O. Croxton and several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her children, Rains M. Douglas, Jr. (Pat) of Bowling Green; Barbara Kriete of Gloucester Point and Raymond Douglas of Midlothian. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tim Douglas, Keith Douglas, Roberta LeDoux, Barbie Bates(Richard), and Crystal Nesbit; and eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren, and many devoted nieces and nephews.
Services were held March 26th at Welch Funeral Home, Warsaw, Va., with interment in Totuskey Baptist Church cemetery.
