Jason Mills, age 26 of Sapulpa, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, Jan. 8, 2007. Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11, 2006 at the People's Church, Tulsa. Funeral services will also be held on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God in Hugoton, Kansas with burial to follow at the Stevens County Cemetery, Hugoton, Kansas.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Oilton, Oklahoma.

Jason was born on Feb. 5, 1980 in Hugoton, Kansas to Art Mills and Becky Lamberson.

He grew up in Hugoton. Jason married Darci Eaton on September 13, 2003 in Hays, Kansas. He had served the Assembly of God Church in Del Nort, CO. as youth pastor, later moving to Denver in June 2006 to become an out-reach director for Sox Place (street ministry for youth and homeless). He and his family had recently moved to Sapulpa to be near family. Jason enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. He loved his family and was a wonderful Daddy. 

Jason is survived by his wife Darci Mills of the home, daughters Skylar Rose Mills and Ivy Deen Mills, brothers Mark Mills of Tulsa, Steve Mills and wife Tammi of Liberal, KS., sister April Ransom of Dallas, father Arthur Mills and wife Patricia of Tulsa, Mother Becky Lamberson of Indianapolis, IN., a niece and nephew. 

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Betty Treaver, grandfather Gene Lamberson, Grandfather Ivan Mills and cousin Brian Lamberson.

Memorials may be made to Jason Mills Memorial Fund @ ONB Bank and Trust in Sapulpa or Tulsa.
