Born in Alexandria, Virginia, and lived in the area all his life. He was married to Helen Wease and had a son named Mark Anthony Page. Mark was killed in an automabile accident on Feb 26, 1994. His second marriage was to Rose Mary Lee and they had two children, Fred Page and Diane Page (Saville). Walter came from a very large family and had one brother, James L Page Jr, and three sisters, Anne Powell Page (Norwood), Kathleen V Page (Pali) and Pamela M. Page (Petitt). He also was survived by nine grand-children.
While growing up in Alexandria, Walter worked in a grocery store on Duke street by the name of Santulos. He worked there many years and was well liked by everyone, After a hitch in the Army, he went to work at the AB&W Transit Company in Alexandria. He retired from there after 20 years of service as a mechanic. His nickname was Cowboy, and he is missed by all his family and friends. I will always remember our trips to Colonial Beach in the summertime with our family.
