PAYSON - Raymond L. Shelley, 56, of Payson, died Sunday, July 21, 1991, in an Orem care center.

He was born Jan. 4, 1935, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Levi Ervin and Ida Lenora Olsen Shelley.

He was educated in Ephraim schools, graduating from Ephraim High School.

He attended Snow College, in electronic and TV repair.

He loved to work with mechanical objects and loved outdoor activities.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held the office of Elder.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Ida and LaVernard Lee, Payson; two brothers and one sister, Jerry Shelley, Payson; Eldon Shelley, Salem; Reva Diann Ewell, Payson. A brother preceded him in death.

Funeral will be Friday, 11 a.m. in the Payson 4th LDS Ward Chapel.

Friends may call at Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Thursday 6-8 p.m. or at the church Friday 10-10:45 a.m.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Friday at 3 p.m.
